Can't fault anything about it.

We couldn't believe the value we got for our money. The room in the castle was absolutely amazing, with breathtaking views and a charming medieval atmosphere. The staff treated us like royalty, making us feel welcome and ensuring we had a fantastic stay.
Food for breakfast could use some improvement, perhaps by offering a wider variety of options.

Stunning views and unique location in the middle of a national park. the hill-top position offers fantastic views of the valley and reservoir. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with two living rooms, a bedroom, and a bathroom. the peaceful ambiance of the surrounding maze of lanes and cottages was a delight to explore.
The accommodation had a damp and fusty smell, which was not pleasant. the lack of information about the locality was also disappointing, as we had to rely on the receptionist's directions for finding a footpath.

The cottages at Tugasa Casas Rurales Castillo De Castellar are cozy and perfect for families like ours. We loved the three bedrooms, it gave us plenty of space to spread out and relax. The small lounge area and kitchen were also a nice touch, making us feel right at home. Plus, the flat-screen TV in the seating area was a great way to unwind after a long day of exploring.
One thing that I personally didn't fancy as much was the kitchen equipped with only a microwave and refrigerator. It limited our cooking options, but I understand that some people might still find it convenient for their needs.

Worth visiting the Alcázar of the Counts of Castellar. The castle stands on a rock, so cool! The location is perfect to explore the nearby beaches and try water sports. The restaurant serves yummy local food.
Smell of old houses! Maybe they need a perfume sprayer.

My go-to place in Castellar! Staff even gave me a local food delivery number on my first stay. Perfect for me with Wi-Fi, off-site car park, kitchenware, air con, TV room, lift. Plus, bar, restaurant, coffee shop, massage, babysitting. Coming back for a romantic escape!

Medieval magnificence! Amazing castle and sunset views with beer. Basic but perfect. No nightlife, but who needs it? History, landscape, and beer make up for it. Also, Belén was quite the attentive staff member.
I was blessed with the squeakiest bed imaginable. It awakened my wife every time I moved.

The location of this hotel is absolutely breathtaking. Situated in a tiny citadel with medieval origins, it offers stunning views of the surroundings, including the majestic Gibraltar rock. The historic context of the hotel adds a charming touch to the experience. Additionally, the suite of rooms provided ample space and the terrace at the top of the castle provided a fantastic spot to relax and take in the views.
There were a few minor inconveniences during my stay. The shower was quite primitive and the fridge in our room was quite noisy, so we had to switch it off at night.

The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic. Nestled within the walls of an ancient castle, it offers breathtaking views of the countryside. the quaint cottages where we stayed were charming and provided a quiet retreat with the soothing sounds of birds chirping. the restaurant, located in a separate building, served delicious food at affordable prices. it was a unique and fascinating experience, staying in such a historic and picturesque setting.
The lack of air conditioning in the cottage was a drawback. considering that it is a 14th-century house, we expected some level of discomfort.
